Anxiety is one of the most common and uncomfortable emotions that many of us will experience at some point in our lives. Through professional counseling, you can learn to become more self-aware of your anxiety triggers, your anxiety’s voice/messages, and learn to manage your anxiety to better function in your day to day life. Alexi use a combination of approaches, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness Therapy, etc.
Alexi is a queer counselor who pulls from both personal and professional education in regard to issues relating to sexuality and the lgbtq+ community.
She has current experience helping others through identify development, gender dysphoria, non-binary expression/exploration and interpersonal relationship struggles.
These topics have motivated her to become a counselor and to specialize in LGBTQ+/sexuality counseling.

Alexi utilizes a combination of therapeutic approaches such as walk and talk therapy, narrative, expressive arts therapy, CBT/DBT, solution-focused, gender theory, and mindfulness techniques.
She enjoys using walk and talk therapy to help her clients remove themselves from a typical office or home environment and allow nature to open them up. Alexi uses narrative therapy in a collaborative manner to help her clients reconstruct their own life narrative to find strength in difficult situations like trauma.
Alexi believes in adapting her approaches to be dependent of the client and their needs so more approaches may be used to better fit her clients.
Alexi's experience has been gained in private practice and in- patient psychiatric facility. She is a Masters Level Clinician and has a Master of Science degree in Counseling from the University of North Georgia.
She also has her Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from the University of North Georgia.
Furthermore, she has taken additional classes like sexuality in counseling, intimate partner violence and sexual assault, and theories of addiction to further her knowledge and training to assist LGBTQ+ individuals, survivors of violence, and people suffering from addiction.
